Things are Getting Proper Up in Here

Tea:s the agricultural product of the leaves, leaf buds, and internodes of various cultivars and sub-varieties of the Camellia sinensis plant, processed and cured using various methods

Aka... disgusting.

But in London, anything goes! You just have to embrace it all. So embrace we did! Tonight we attended High Tea at Kensington Palace. Official? Very much so.

We all got dressed up, but we had no idea how proper and nice this event is every day! We not only were given herbal tea, but an assortment of sandwiches, pastries and a scone with a traditional way to layer the cream and jelly.

It only lasted for about an hour, but we had a great time enjoying the "fancy" and "proper" of the British traditions. Surprisingly, the things they served us weren't half bad...not bland at all! High Tea is actually pretty good! Another surprise in our adventures here in London...
